what can i say? a picture tells a thousand words?

duncans, the town we stay in is not a tourist destination. it has a chinese market,

 (and yes, the owner is CANTONESE--born in jamaica, grandfather + father + brother owned the store, whose picture is below) and now the shop is run by her son michael.

so where do we stay?

Azure Cove. It is a private community of "Real World" houses, owned but rented out as vacation property. Each student stays with 4-5 in a house. this is mine. im in the back. this is the front. and yes, this is an infinity pool. 6 bedrooms. 6 bathrooms. a "house mother" who is hired to take care of the house: cook, clean, etc.   For example in the three night we stayed here, this is our meal:

night one: chicken jerk, rice and beans, salad. banana rum bread.

night two: curry chicken, white rice, stir fried cabbage and carrots.

night three: pork stew with beans, mashed potatoes, salad. i took the

leftover rice and put it in a bowl and had it with the pork. OH YEAH!
